Hi, I’m Carter, the man behind the camera. For those who don’t know me, I was born in raised in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, a small town along the Connecticut River. As a child, I did typical boy things like play a lot of video games, slack off in school, and sneak out of the house to walk 5 miles for a cheeseburger. I never quite felt like I fit in. I was never good at things, mostly because I never even tried. I existed more than I lived. That all changed on April 14, 2024. Seeking to quiet the noise in my head, I drove up to Mt. Monadnock in New Hampshire, for my first ever real hike. On that mountain, I discovered who I really was. After getting my ass kicked by a mountain that toddlers climb regularly, I knew in my heart that getting outside was what I was meant to do. Ever since that day, I’ve had an uncountable number of amazing experiences in the outdoors, meeting some of the kindest people on the planet. My mission here is to share some of these incredible moments and inspire others to take the scary leap into the unknown.
